Highland Falconry Centre
at Rothiemurchus
Centre Visits, will be running on select dates in July & August:
Guided tour, meet the Maremma's, feed the friendly farm animals and bird of prey flying display.
Centre visits start at 1:30pm where you will be greeted by our friendly falconer in the car park and taken on a guided tour of the Centre, seeing hawks, owls, falcons, caracaras and eagles.
It will then be time to meet the Maremmas, our resident livestock guardian dogs. These extremely adorable dogs not only love cuddles but are also playing an important role in our livestock guardian project. These dogs are helping us to show their potential to be used on UK farms, to help farmers and predators coexist and to show how they work in other parts of the world.
You also will have the chance to meet and feed our flock of friendly farm animals.
Finally, is the Bird of prey flying display!
Take a seat in our flying arena and have the chance to see birds of prey from around the world. Ranging from a small and mighty owl to a huge, empowering eagle and even the fastest animal on the planet!
Our birds will be flying in and amongst the audience with inches to spare allowing for a thrilling experience of being up close and personal to these amazing creatures.
