Bird of Prey Experience
Our most popular experience is perfect for family and friends looking to enjoy a truly hands-on falconry experience together.
During this two hour experience, each guest whether child or adult will have the opportunity to fly four different species of birds of prey to the gauntlet. Each bird offers something unique, giving our guests a varied, memorable, and personal introduction to the world of falconry.
Guests aged 16 and over will also have the chance to fly an eagle, making this one of the best-value falconry experiences in the Highlands.
As a family-run business, we take great pride in creating welcoming, unforgettable experiences for every guest who visits us.
You will be met in the Rothiemurchus fishery and falconry
car park by one of our experienced falconers where you will be guided on a short walk into the Falconry Centre to begin your experience.
After your Bird of Prey Experience, you will have the chance to meet our very special, resident livestock guardian dogs and flock of sheep who play an important role in our Livestock Guardian conservation project.
Cameras at the ready as you will be getting up close and personal to these magnificent creatures!
This experience lasts up to 2 hours.
